Picked up two “Books on CD” from my neighborhood’s public library
Mitch Albom’s For One More Day and Jane Austen’s Emma.
We’ll see if I can get into this audiobook format thing.
Also, this is the same library that I recently applied for a job at (I know I have two already but another one really couldn’t hurt). I’m waiting to hear back for the 3rd phase of the application process… interviews. Keep your fingers crossed. =D
I have found that some books are absolutely better on audio and some absolutely suck when being read aloud. Not sure why that is. Also, books read by their authors are never as good as those read by professional actors. NN
